I started my new job. I was laid off at my other programming job in the beginning of November. My last job was a programming job in NYC. The hours were great!(considering I basically came in when I wanted to=)) and the people were nice but I think they were a bit shady and hypocritical. For instance, they kept telling me that I was going to get a raise..when they had no intention of giving me one(lying pieces of shit!) then they make it seem like oh..it is kewl that you are looking for a part time job...we don't care..and we will still give you a raise. (well that was a load of crap!!) The minute I started dressing better to find a part-time they saw that and decided to come up with the lame ass excuse of 'we are having financial difficulties..so we have to lay you off' Bullshit!! They are a small company so they have financial difficulties all year round dammit!! Also, if they were having such financial difficulties then why were they interviewing for more people!!! They also told me that they would write me a recommendation, which of course didn't happen because they are lying pieces of shit! Well, whatever I got 2 weeks with pay which I was able to spend most of that time with my Don.
