What's the dealio publishers?

I'm so annoyed right now. I have a list of books on amazon that I put in my wish list just waiting for them to go from hardcovers to being printed in paperback. There are some popular books that have been published in hardcover 2 years ago and still have not come out in paperback yet. What's the dealio? It use to be that after a year of a hardcover book being published the book would come out in paperback. Now, I'm lucky if that happens in two years time.

I hate waiting for things to come out in paperback but for me I would rather wait then pay a ridiculous amount for a hardcover book and try to find room for it on my bookshelf. And do not get me started on e-books which they advertise as cheaper but  only by a couple of dollars. If I'm going to have to spend the money on an e-book I might as well pay the extra couple of bucks and by the huge hardcover.

I know what the publishers are trying to do, they want to have the consumer's spend the money on the hardcovers so they keep the hardcovers out longer now. But, you know what? I am not giving in! I will wait for that damn paperback or try and find a copy of the book in the *cringes* li..li..library.

Don't get me wrong..i use to love libraries but now..i go into one and I can't stand it. If I am lucky I might be put on a waiting list to get to read the one copy of the book they have.

Give me more paperbacks damnit!! *laughs*
