White Collar Gay Undertones

I have been watching White Collar since its debut and I love it. The characters Neal and Peter are great. I also believe that they are gay. I am telling you the writers of this show are always making gay undertones with these two. I think it is so cute! The lastest one was last night in the season premiere.

I am not going to give you details regarding the plot or characters...just know that Neal and Peter are in their 30's. Peter is an FBI agent looking for Neal who is a con artist and the below script is from a phone conversation they are having:

*Neal gets a page and gets out of bed. He leaves his beachfront home and calls the number he sees in the page thinking it is his friend Ellen who is trying to reach him*

Neal: "Ellen?"
Peter: "Hi Neal." *he says with a smile*
Neal: "I guess this makes you 3 and 0." *says smiling*
Peter: "2 and 1, haven't found you yet."
Neal: "Ellen, gave you my pager number?"
Peter: "Yeah...yeah she sends her best."
Neal: *nods*, "I'm sure...What do you know?"
Peter: "Neal the G.O.J. has someone looking for you."
Neal: "Hm. If they didn't I would be insulted."
Peter: "He means business."
Neal: "He meaning you?"
Peter: "No."
Neal: "Then I am not worried. How bad did I leave things for you?"
Peter: "The bureau beat me up a little but I am handling it."
Neal: "Elizabeth?"
Peter: "She's good." *says smiling*
Peter: "The agent that's looking for you his name is Collins. He's with the office of International Affairs. He's dangerous and he won't stop until he finds you."

**Now you begin to wonder..see below**

Neal: "I'm save here and I'm happy. We had a good run."
Peter: "It's not over."
Neal: "Yeah it is. Your a FBI Agent and I'm a con man. There is only a few ways this could have ended, this is one of the best."
Peter: *nods* "Right."
Neal: "You understand this has to be the last time. New York and I are done."
Peter: "I get it. Please watch out for Collins."
Neal: "I will. It's good to hear your voice."
Peter: "Yeah, you too."
Neal: "Goodbye, Peter."
Peter: "Goodbye, Neal."
